Welcome Back to Barefoot
My name is Angie Carron, founder of Back to Barefoot—storyteller, teacher, transformation artist, wife, mom, and GiGi.
For years, I chased worthiness through hustle, performance, and sacrifice—quietly destroying myself in the process. I went from an overachieving supermom climbing the corporate ladder to a list of diagnoses and prescription slips. Feeling mentally and physically depleted, I found myself barefoot on a mat. Through yoga, self-care, and holistic healing, I finally made my way back home.
Frustrated by the lack of access in my community, I dedicated the next decade to creating spaces where women felt safe to heal, grow, and connect. Along the way, a deeply connected community emerged.
Now in my 50s, after teaching thousands of classes, hosting countless gatherings, and supporting women through seasons of healing and reinvention, I’m embracing a softer chapter.
Deep reflections.
Seasonal gatherings.
10 toes on the mat.
Back to Barefoot is a return to self—A nomadic hearth for women ready to remember who they were before the world told them who to be.
We don’t need more advice.
We need space to feel safe, seen, and accepted.
A place quiet enough to hear our own voice again.
If you're longing to belong, I’m honored to walk alongside you.

To Be Barefoot
Barefoot Manifesto
This is a place to land. Not a glow-up. Not a performance. Not a space where you have to explain yourself or prove your worth. Back to Barefoot is a grounded community of women choosing soft power over hustle, honesty over performance, and friendship over competition. We walk side-by-side—through conversations, classes, retreats, travel, and all the in-between moments that make life feel like ours again.
We believe:
You don’t need fixing.
You don’t need permission.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to belong.
You’re welcome whether you’re rebuilding, redefining, resting, or just curious.
You’re welcome if you’re strong or tired. You’re welcome if you’re joyful or wanting more.
You’re welcome exactly as you are.
This is a nomadic hearth. A place to gather, tell the truth kindly, play like grown women, and remember who you were before the world told you who to be. If something in you is whispering "there's more than this", welcome to Back to Barefoot. Shoes optional.

TO BE BAREFOOT
-
A Barefoot Woman is grounded —not stuck.
-
She knows where she stands, even when she’s still becoming.
-
She chooses soft power over force.
-
She doesn’t hustle for worth or perform for belonging. Her presence is enough.
-
She values honesty over perfection.
-
She tells the truth kindly, listens deeply, and leaves room for nuance.
-
She walks side-by-side. There is no hierarchy. No competition disguised as empowerment. Just women choosing connection over comparison.
-
She plays. She laughs loudly, rests unapologetically, and remembers that joy isn’t frivolous—it’s essential.
-
She honors friendship.
-
She knows community isn’t built through proximity, but through consistency, care, and shared truth.
-
She stays rooted in real life. In her body. In her values. In her responsibilities and her dreams.
-
She doesn’t escape—she engages.
-
She is barefoot not because she’s lost……but because she’s home.
